Dessert at a Mamak Stall

And then we had dessert at a mamak stall called Treetop (I think). Oops, pic is very blurred.

We had air batu campur ("ABC", Malaysian version of ice kachang) and coconut (called kelapa and not kepala, which means head). I realized that I have no confidence in speaking Malay, although my first language is Indonesian, which is close to, but not the same as, Malay. The waiter was shocked when we ordered just three ABC, with no food or drinks. We ordered the coconut later on.

Myself, Terence, Grace and Berdine, looking happy. If you look at the background you might be able to see the setting of the place, which is like huts with short tables, and you sit on the floor.

And on the other side of the table are The Hung and Tai Tat (our personal tour guide). He's really good and I think he can consider a career in the tourism industry, if only he drives more gently. :-P
Can you see the angklungs behind? When we were eating, a guy was playing another angklung set, solo in the middle of the place to various tunes such as Chinese songs, English pop songs, jazz, etc. He's quite good. They said he's the only one who can play angklung solo that well in Johor.
