Škoda

Today I finally got a chance to ride in a Škoda cab. It’s been a while since their cabs are out on the streets and I’ve been dying to hail one when I have to take a cab (calling is not an option).

Perhaps it’s because of my preconception of the vehicle or how the cab driver managed the interior of the cab, but although I was impressed when I stepped inside, I had somehow expected more. I do agree that its interior is quite modern compared to the normal cabs (it took me 2 seconds to figure out where the door handle was -.-’) and even the look of the seats shouts “strength and power” (these cabs are 2.5 litre diesels with Turbo power according to mrbrown). However, I don’t feel it was much more spacious than Comfort’s Toyota.

But then again, it was probably because the trip only took me 5 minutes from my house to the MRT station…
