Someone has a crush on you! They always do.

and the list goes on and on.

After so many days of not checking my e-mail. i’m left with something like 140 new e-mails, 96 of which are spam. i’ve always hated those spam mail. furthermore, they don’t even check the gender of their victim! ok, so i have a 10% chance of me being interested in e-card greetings, but never in my wildest dreams would i need a breast enlargement cream! oh, please….. can’t they just leave us non-interested people alone?

but anyway, i went to watch budak pantai concert yesterday at the esplanade. it was free admission, which was one of the reasons why i didn’t mind going. of course, other than the fact that they’re quite good. if you don’t know, budak pantai is a local a capella music group, who sings, in my opinion, light-hearted songs such as ‘modified’ my heart will go on, and some boyzone songs. they’re very funny… the way they carry on with their performance was hilarious! example: due to the number of people coming to watch the show, some of the people had to sit behind the performers, i.e. the choir seats. so halfway, they turned around and introduced “for the first time ever in esplanade history, the budak pantai choir!”. dots. after that the lights were rotated so they shone on the ‘unlucky’ group of people.

and yeah, maybe i should also tell you that i went there with two of my friends. one from acjc, one from sajc. both are indonesians. don’t worry if i had asked you and you said that you couldn’t make it. i’m not gonna be angry with you. promise! :)
the night before that, i watched final destination 2 on dvd. but the stupid censors were damn irritating! they cut off all the gory stuff! wasted my $2.50, man…. and furthermore, they made the cuts very obvious, like for example suddenly the music skips. anyway so i decided that i have to get the uncut version, and managed to borrow one from my laotian friend. and yes, that’s more enjoyable, despite me watching it like the third time in 2 days.

anyway, the story itself is quite scary. imagine death stalking you. imagine that you can just die by some freak accident because you were meant to die by some ‘more proper’ accident but somehow you managed to cheat death. imagine that you were saved from a car which almost hit you, only to come home and find yourself killed because some brick dislodged from the roof and hit you. in fact, all the deaths in the movie are quite tragic.

and the premonition thing is quite freaky too. imagine knowing that you will die in two hours’ time. isn’t that more scary than not knowing that you will die?
