Better Quality Photos
Finally got my photos back from the lab. This time it’s done properly. The photo lab I went to today is this one:
Siren Colour Lab
Blk 960, Jurong West St. 92
#01-204, Singapore 640961
Highly recommended for NTU students who still use film and want to develop photos. It’s cheap too, if I were to send a roll of film for developing and scanning into a CD, it would have costed me $7 ($2 for developing, $5 for scanning) which is MUCH cheaper than the freaking lab at Orchard charges.
Oh, so as a comparison, we’ll see how the two labs fare. We’ll use the same photo that I posted two days ago.
(Note: it may take some time to load the photo scanned by Siren Colour Lab as the file size is 556 KB, which is expected of a photo of that size. I don’t intend to edit the photo to show you the real, unedited products of the two labs.)

Yes, as usual you can click on the photos to enlarge them.
See the difference? Moral of the story: don’t always think that being in the city will guarantee a good service. Sometimes it’s the shop deep in the suburb which can give you a real good quality service.
PS: Yeah, I know my photographic skill is still not good yet. Mostly lack of time and high price of developing are the reasons that I no longer pursue this hobby as much as I did the last time. Perhaps if I get a digital SLR I may pursue this hobby again in the future.
